1. Online Payments Terms & Conditions

Payments for purchases made through The Fish Stop can only be made via bank transfer.

We do not facilitate direct online payments via credit or debit cards. All transactions are processed through bank transfer, and payment details will be provided upon checkout.

Payments must be made in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).

Orders will only be processed once the payment has been successfully received and verified by our team.

Customers will receive a confirmation via WhatsApp and/or a call once the payment has been cleared and the order is ready for pickup.

Once a payment has been made, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. The Fish Stop does not accept responsibility for any payment failures or issues related to bank transfers, which shall be a matter between you and your respective bank.

2. Order Pickup

Once the payment has been confirmed, we will arrange your order for pickup.

Customers will be notified via WhatsApp and/or a call when their order is ready for pickup.

Orders must be picked up within the specified timeframe communicated at the time of confirmation.

Failure to pick up the order within the agreed timeframe may result in order cancellation without refund.

Customers are responsible for checking their order at pickup. Once an order has been picked up, The Fish Stop will not be held liable for any damages, losses, or claims.

3. Returns and Replacements

Due to the delicate nature of live fish and aquatic products, we do not accept returns or offer replacements once a purchase has been completed.

Customers are advised to carefully review their order before making a payment and picking up their items.

4. Important Considerations for Live Fish Purchases

  • Ensure you have adequate space in your tank and that it is suitable for the fish you are purchasing.

  • Your tank should be fully cycled before introducing new fish.

  • Maintain the appropriate water parameters, temperature, and habitat to support the well-being of your fish.

  • Ensure compatibility with existing tank mates to avoid aggressive interactions or health risks.

  • After receiving your fish, do not feed them for the first 24 hours to allow them time to acclimate.

  • Newly introduced fish may appear stressed or pale but should regain their color and vitality after settling in.

5. Live Fish Ordering Process

Customers can place orders for live fish through The Fish Stop website.

Fish are sourced from high-quality breeders and carefully inspected to ensure they are healthy and disease-free.

Once an order is confirmed and paid, the fish will be prepared for pickup.

The Fish Stop guarantees that the fish you receive are the exact fish selected and ordered.

6. General Terms

The Fish Stop reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

By placing an order, customers acknowledge and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.

The Fish Stop holds no responsibility for damages or losses incurred due to improper handling, incorrect tank conditions, or other factors beyond our control after pickup.
